Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Snap extension, local dashboard, server-backed features, and website.

Acceptance and Scope

Snap is a Chrome extension, local dashboard, and supporting website and API service for Merch on Demand creators. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Snap extension, dashboard, Snap‑controlled services, and snapapp.tech website. By installing, accessing, or using Snap, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

Amazon Account and Platform Compliance

You may use Snap only with accounts and data you are authorized to access. You are responsible for complying with applicable law and with Amazon’s terms, policies, quotas, rate limits, advertising rules, intellectual‑property rules, and content guidelines. Snap is an independent product and is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Amazon.

License

We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to use Snap for your own authorized Merch workflow. You may not sell, sublicense, redistribute, reverse engineer, bypass access controls, interfere with Snap’s operation, or use Snap to violate platform policies, third‑party rights, or applicable law.

Your Content, Accounts, and Decisions

You retain ownership of your designs, listing content, and business data. Snap does not claim ownership of them. You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, rights, and suitability of all designs, text, prices, advertising inputs, infringement reports, and other content or instructions you provide or submit through Snap.

Dashboard Access and Local Database

You authorize Snap to access information available through your signed‑in Amazon sessions when necessary to provide the features you use. This can include account identifiers, ASINs, listings, designs, product configurations, images, sales, returns, cancellations, royalties, payouts, public product insights, and Amazon Advertising information.

  • Dashboard and advertising datasets are stored in local browser databases on your device. Snap‑controlled servers do not receive those datasets.
  • Local data can become incomplete, stale, corrupted, or unavailable because of Amazon changes, browser behavior, storage limits, interrupted synchronization, extension updates, or device failure.
  • Database backups and exports can contain sensitive business information. You are responsible for protecting, verifying, and securely storing or sharing any file you export.

Synchronization and Dashboard Accuracy

Snap may perform first‑run, scheduled, recovery, and user‑requested synchronization using your active Amazon sessions. Dashboard metrics may differ temporarily from Amazon because of sync timing, marketplace currencies, exchange‑rate snapshots, cached data, data normalization, or upstream API and page changes. Snap analytics, estimated conversions, research badges, and other derived metrics are informational. Amazon’s own interfaces, reports, and records remain the source of truth for financial, account, advertising, and publishing decisions.

Actions That Affect Amazon Data

Some Snap tools can submit user‑initiated actions to Amazon, including listing creation workflows, pricing changes, product deletion, re‑listing, product configuration changes, infringement reports, and Amazon Advertising operations. You must review the selected records, settings, prices, targets, and generated files before confirming an action.

Some operations use durable queues and may resume after a browser, tab, or extension service‑worker restart to finish an operation you already initiated. You are responsible for monitoring results in Amazon, stopping or correcting an operation when appropriate, and confirming that Amazon accepted the intended changes.

Server‑Backed Features

  • Trademark Scan: Text you choose to scan is sent to the Snap API and checked against trademark records sourced from the USPTO. Results are informational, may be incomplete or outdated, and are not legal advice, clearance, or a guarantee that a term is safe to use.
  • Operational data: Snap may retrieve exchange rates, feature settings, broadcasts, and service status. Currency conversions and derived financial views are estimates, not accounting or tax advice.

Amazon Sessions and Permissions

Snap uses your existing signed‑in Amazon sessions and browser permissions to provide its disclosed features. Snap does not ask for or store your Amazon password. You are responsible for protecting your device, Chrome profile, Amazon sessions, exported files, and any access to your account.

Acceptable Use

Use Snap only for your own authorized Merch workflow and in accordance with applicable laws and Amazon’s rules. Do not misuse Snap or interfere with its operation.

Free Service and Contributions

Snap is currently free and community driven. We do not sell your data, and Snap currently has no subscriptions, third‑party ads, or affiliate programs. Voluntary contributions and feedback help support development but do not purchase guaranteed availability, support levels, features, or outcomes.

Support

For help, email support@snapapp.tech or use the website support form. We provide support on a best‑effort basis and do not guarantee response or resolution times. Information and files you deliberately send for support may be reviewed to respond to your request.

Changes to Snap and to These Terms

We may add, change, limit, suspend, or discontinue features for security, reliability, compliance, Amazon platform changes, or product development. We may also update these terms. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date and, where required, an additional notice. Continued use after updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance.

Disclaimers

Snap is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, and non‑infringement. We do not guarantee listings, approvals, rankings, sales, royalties, campaign performance, trademark clearance, data completeness, successful reports, uninterrupted synchronization, or compatibility with future Amazon changes.

Snap does not provide legal, financial, tax, accounting, or investment advice. Consult a qualified professional when a decision requires such advice.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Snap and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost sales, lost data, advertising spend, account restrictions, listing removals, pricing errors, failed uploads, reports, takedowns, or platform actions arising from or related to your use of Snap. You remain responsible for verifying actions and maintaining any backups you need.

Termination

You may stop using Snap at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to Snap or particular features when necessary for security, abuse prevention, compliance, service operation, or Amazon platform changes. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including responsibility, disclaimers, and limitations of liability, remain effective.
